CREATIVE PROFILE

 

We are all looking for ways to connect. For me, the best solution is a creative one — to tell a story, create a character, engage visually. This is how an idea is understood and remembered.

Creative solutions enable us to stand out.  

I cannot recall a time in my life when I was not creating. Drawing. Painting. Writing stories. I embraced film and then video. I am a Swiss Army knife when it comes to content.

A mix of creativity, ingenuity, and strategy is needed to get things done. My background includes a range of fields: film, marketing, music, technical, publishing, communications, and even a little HR. I have produced videos, books, CDs, websites, DVDs, commercials, t-shirts, podcasts, collateral marketing materials, corporate signage...you get the idea.

I have had a micro short film selected for 10 festivals, nominated for awards twice. I have won a Sundance Collab monthly challenge and two Tongal ideation competitions.

Creativity and versatility are important, but are they everything?

Listening and communicating are key to learning what your needs are and what the potential solutions could be. I know how to work with diverse personalities and groups in order to produce the best work. Understanding goals and challenges for the short term and the long term are necessary in order to be strategic. This includes respecting budgets and prioritizing need in a dynamic way. With insight and vision, solutions can make a huge impact.

No one knows how to do everything. When it makes sense, I can find a great expert in my network and coordinate their involvement. I manage the project to completion, so a client can concentrate their expertise elsewhere in their business.
